Offered me an Orion programming box for £15. Payment sent through PayPal goods and services. Then refunded saying it would take 28days to clear and to send as a gift. So me being the gulable one sent money through as gift an nothing since. You live and learn.

I had a similar thing with nitrostommy, but I never sent any more money, I reported it and I believe his account was limited hence why the name change I guess.

Believe it or not mine wasn't big bucks either.

Small change fetish

Its a shame cos thats like 2 packs of wishbones with change left over.

If it could be proven its the same person maybe an ip ban might work ?

There is no nitrousthomas registered here.
I assume you meant nitroustommy?
AndyP was sensible enough to keep me informed of his situation, so nitroustommy was removed from trading as soon as Andy brought the problem to my attention, which another member has since done too. I have not heard anything from anyone else.

oOple.com is in no way responsible for the non-completion of any transaction whether you are selling or buying goods.

YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Make sure you get as many contact details as possible - we would recommend you get the following information…

• Pictures of the items for sale - these should be posted with all for sale adverts.
• Full Name.
• User Name.
• Full Address and Postcode.
• Telephone Number (Land line).
• Mobile Number(s).
• Preferred and/or alternative email addresses.
• Payment Method.

Keep all details whether they are e-mails or private messages – do not delete any messages until you are both happy that the deal is fully complete. These are essential pieces of evidence should the deal go wrong e.g. not sending out goods/money.

It’s also advisable to use some form of traceable carriage method, such as recorded or registered post, so that items lost in transit can be easily identified and possibly compensated for.

We strongly advise against direct bank tx, or paypal as a gift! If a deal is too good to be true then it usually is! Trader feedback is a pretty good way of knowing if a seller is genuine.

Dont let someone else profit for the sake of a few pounds.
