Default Hobbywing XR10 PRO Elite G2

Hi,

I have a XR10 PRO Elite G2 and it will not switch on, if I hold the on button it comes on (no led) and when I release the button it goes off, hope that make senses. Any help would be a great thanks.

is it the button on the esc or the external one you plug in ? If the former, sounds like a faulty esc/esc switch. You could try contacting CML and see if they can help

https://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/contact

*slight Edit* try both power switches - built in and external

Alternatively, do you have a wifi module or box you could plug into it to check/update the firmware (difficult if it doesnt stay on) and settings to see whats been setup on the esc. Probably a red herring but if the esc is setup for remote off and your tx isnt calibrated, it could be switching itself off that way (I have 4 of these and touch wood, no issues to date)

The elite doesn’t come with the external switch, also Schumacher are also the distributors for Hobbywing, so might be worth checking who supplied it originally, as both CML and Schumacher will just reject it, if it wasn’t supplied by them.

The good news is the elite only came out in April, so hopefully Schumacher will do a warranty replacement for you, get in touch with a guy called Mark Marshall at Schumacher, and he will help you, also find out where the guy you bought it from purchased it from originally, did he give you the original receipt?
