I got mine a couple of months ago and now run it as my full time 4wd as it is the best car but seriously it is awesome!

I read the old set up threads in this Losi section and copied Danny and Toms set up posts as they used the cars as team drivers at the time.

Next step for me is the big bores off the 22 and try an up to date Bloomfield set up.

Have you put the xxx-cr rear hubs and wishbones on?

Thumbs up xx4

I'm going to go to 22 shocks next. only issue that concerns me with that, does the shock rods on the 22 come the same length as the xx4. i have found that short rear shocks (xxx-cr) can cause the xx4 to have a difficulty turning.
i have also noticed that the rear brace is not very well fitted, is there a upgrade for that part?
i'm yet to fit the xxx-cr rear hubs, it would be benficial to it thore.

cheers.

Yeah as far as I know the cr rear hubs and wishbones are a must. Iv never run the car without. Basically set up wise I just copy the team drivers. I mean iv seen people run a shorty down one side and the electrics down the other but if this was actually better surly Darren and all he other TLR drivers would run it like that? I run saddles with the left one in the forward position. Also I have some weight in the front of the car crammed into the belt tunnel.

Yes the 22 shocks need modifying. I can't remember exactly how but there's a thread on here about them and what you need to do.
