Hello again all,
Just another small piece of advice.
Rc champ can supply the kit slipper and 501x shocks, or I can get the kit from stella and the rest from tamiya shop switzerland. Price is much of a muchness.
From your experience, which is likely to deliver faster? Also which is least likely to get trapped in customs?

Cheers

I was wondering if anyone could steer me in the direction of getting the proper servo for my Durga. I already have decided on the brand ( Hitec), but was wondering if i should go with the HS625 mg speed servo or the the HS645 mg tourque servo? I dont race, but i still like to have the best setup possible for personal use. Let me know please. Thanks.

625mg should be fine for your use. I've used Hitec servos for many, many years and swear by them!!

Thanks a lot Roger. That was the servo that i was aiming towards, but just needed some confirmation. I like Hitec as well, since i have never had any problems with their receivers.

not deliberately trying to be a pain, just want to get the thing ordered. Advice on which is better Rc champ or stella (delivery times, customs etc) would be appreciated. Then I will shut up (at least until it arrives!

Cheers

the shock towers will be good, but I would steer clear of the the alloy suspension bits, they are not normaly very good.

edit: parcelfarce have finally released my db01.... with charges.... thanks rc-champ... rcmart will get my business next time.... I would of had the kit by now.

Well, first race night with the car ended after a tumble in the first heat. Broke the rear shock tower where the wing mount screws pass through it. Those 3racing shock towers are looking pretty interesting right now. Can't seem to find replacement in stock here in U.S. Might have to try to fabricate something until parts are available. Back to the Lazer for now.

When I notmaly buy, I use rcmart or stella and don't normally incur charges, I don't mind the VAT but £13.50 for parcelfare I don't like
