1st Sunday Trophy meeting 8th May 2011

Hi All,

Sunday the 8th of May 2011 will be the first EVER Sunday meeting at Surrey and Hants Radio Control Car Club. To celebrate we will be holding a special Trophy meeting (subject to minimum number of racers).

GATES OPEN AT 9.00AM (dont come before as you cant get in!!!) with races around 10.30am



Trophies will be award to:

• Top 3 in each final

Prices are £7 for members and £10 for non members, unders 16's are £2 and under 12's FREE.

Membership is just £30 per year and entitles you to at least 10 practice nights/non championship race meetings FREE OF CHARGE (worth £50+) plus entry into our year Sunday championship.

Shame Nick, although not all people will be in York so hopefully we'll be able to attract some others, look forward to seeing you thrash the Vega around though.

Remember there's a national on Grass and you might need a set up trial

Really looking forward to Sunday already!. Will be a change to the 'rush' of racing before darkness so will be a bit more relaxing for me!. Hoping to see a good turnout!

You went well in 1 and 2.... then I think the red mist decended!. I didnt run my 3rd final... make of that what you will!!!!

Doors open at 9.00am with first race at 10.30am

Yeah lost the flow never mind not bad considering i have only been doing it for a couple of weeks it can only get better!!!!!!

That depends on how many turn up and heats etc. I would hope we could get a few heats going so I would expect the meeting to last 4 hours or so.

Should get home for the Chelski vs Man U game

As its the first Sunday meeting I've really no idea how many will come, could be just you and me!

Just wanted to say what a great support and example to the hobby you were on Sunday at Torch last weekend. Thanks again.

There is a torch meeting everyweek so a change now and again will not harm. Plus love the idea of racing on grass again, because the last time I raced on grass, must have been 15 years ago or so
Also inter club support will only bring more people to our clubs.

Certinaly some very close racing in the finals and latter heats

One heat race down to .01 of a second!!!!

1st place in the 2wd A Final went down to the very last corner with a winner takes all situation between Barry Carolan and myself. Barry made a mistake and I just snuck tight round the corner to claim 1st.
