How many spare hours do you have to get that many shells painted that perfectly ???
The SCT is amazing, the little starts and TD logo's in everything to make up the textures must have taken hours to put on and take off. The application of the paint so perfectly on these tiny details and the fades is also incredibly. Without a doubt some of the nicest paintwork I've seen on RC cars. |

cheers eyeayen for the kind words
All I can say i'm struggeling to find some spare time to do this airbrushing. So what you see here is mostly countless sleepless hours during night time. the blue and white ones are done scattered trough a period of almost one year, so it's not like I bust them out in one weekend or something. I do use for the logos, window trims, some of the lines and the lights a vinyl cutter. Most time there goes into the designing and fitting of the templates Once you've got them ready you gain some time when you can reuse them like I do in my 2wd and 4wd sct (same shell). + when I ruin them by racing I can redo them a bit faster. and the vinyl cutter does help to get more consistent, cleaner and sharper results compared to cutting all out by hand. the shading is still freehand airbrush, but that's just practice. no secrets there.

Credit where it is due though ! It's some of the nicest paint I've ever seen on an RC car.
Vinyl cutters are the future for sure, when I got mine about 12 years ago it turned the business I was doing then around and let me do a lot more than I was before I had one. As for doing these at night, it's the only time I get too, I think it's just an artists thing, working on another one while everyone else sleep |

More coolness !!! Loving the way you've done the grill with your logo as the badge, also the lights are really good and I've seen anyone else do them like that, original is always good ! Colours and shadows good too

I think you have my "favourite" style of painting, hope one day I can lay it down as clean as this!
