Default 10th Jan

Great nights racing as always.

Not surprisingly Ben was hugely chuffed with his trophies. Think he would have gone to sleep with them if he could:-) Thanks.

As for the night itself, I actually made some decent progress with the Rango. Got some laps done this week, learnt a lot and starting to get tge hang of it. Definately a different driving style needed when compated to how my B44 was set up. Think the brand new foams are starting to settle in.

Had a very good little battle with the Callum, you had soom good speed there fella!

Final was brought to an early end when I ended up 3 wheel drive. Cvd came undone. Third one in two weeks. I blame the guy who built it!!!

Ben drove great again, he's taken to the b44 really well. Might be imagining things, but thought in a couple of heats and again in the final it wasn't counting his last lap. Any ideas whether this is a conmon'ish problem?

I treated him to a X20 8.5 turn motor, he's had for a while now decent racing ability but his previous system was lacking in speed

Rango looking really good mate.
Congrats to your Ben, it's great to see kids faces when they win trophys. It is such a treat for them.
Callum is becoming a really really good racer and I am sure he will get his first place championship trophy soon.
I would say I enjoyed watching the final but that would be lieing. What a Muppet I am, breaking car in warm up is not a pleasant experience, still only 2nd breakage in a year. The bmax is solid.
Rebuilt diff over weekend and hopefully can get the shock parts order on Monday.

Thanks a lot for the positive comments, it really does mean a lot,

as for the andy and the rango, once them tyres have bedded in and the reliability sorts itself out you'll be the one with speed,

as for matt, unlucky you raced really well on Friday and really didn't deserve that.

last of all well done to my dad, getting 4th with the xray on new tyres.

Callum

You have earned the positive comments you get mate.

I think Lee is only going to get quicker with that xray for sure. I am going to have to really up my game.
There is some close racing going on at the moment, a bad night will drop you too the c final I reckon, a good night gets you the a, there is about 10 drivers in that bracket I reckon. Which is very good for the racing.
Game on!!!

Matt spot on don't think there was much in qualifying top of C or bottom of the A. Unlucky on breaking the Yoke just before the final. Enjoyed racing the Xray certainly put a smile on my face managed to get out of heat 4 which would have been the D final to qulaify 7th in the B

Default Friday 17th

1st week of the championship this friday, Hope the usual suspects are going to be there.
Thanks to MB models managed to get the car repaired only to find out my diff is destroyed!!!
Another phone call to MB and new diff on route, arriving at work friday, sooooo will be fitting that friday before the racing starts so am going to be a little rushed as the yoke is not the easiest to get the gearbox out of!!!
Hopefully I should have enough time.!!!!
typical these things happen during championship weeks!

Who else is 2wd this championship? I did notice the thread about converting xray to 2wd.

Matt yes it's something that I'm considering fancy trying their 2wd as I've got the 4wd and they share the same parts only that on the 2wd there's more of a kick up at the front.

Bit more than that... kick up, new top deck, different ackerman plate. If you go the full conversion then wishbones, plastic tub few other bits and bats are different as well

I wish I had the cash for a bmax4 but even a kidney wouldn't raise enough funds.

Could you sell callum?
