Yeh its sic innit...

Cheers mate cutters are cool but the Liquid mask is still quicker on the normal type stuff.

If you're going to get a cutter learn the software first. If you can use the software it's worth getting one because without it the cutter is nothing.

Inkscape is completely free, plenty of tutorials for it too, worth looking at as it will drive the cutter and you've had no cost until you buy the cutter.

Inkscape works on the mac, it's got a seperate cutter bit though which doesn't. However I think the craft robo is fine with it's own software. There are a few other mac users on here that are using the craft robo with illustrator. That's a bit pricey though, you can buy Corel much cheaper but it's not free like inkscape...

Again the camera has been my enemy in photographing this, the subtle metallic charcoal of the circuitry is easier to see in daylight than it appears here and the back is a lovely shade of retina burning fluorescent orange.

I'm severely lacking on the first two. I don't have time to spit at the moment

Yeah cutter all the way, loving it at the moment and doing more and more on it ! It's just about finding limits with all these things.

Sounds like you're getting on well with Inkscape, keep going with it. As long as you can trace logo's accurately and make neat artwork you can use the cutter.

Fades and nice shading is okay for visuals if you want to show the customers but at the same time it's no use tot he cutter. You just need well drawn out stuff to feed through it and spray through.

Lastest shell, just finished last night. All on the cutter, would have been a nightmare to get it all the same without it.
