Racers Edge are bringing out a Top Aluminum Servo Saver in Raw. No pics yet but part number is RCE9801.
I've got one on backorder. If no pics are out by the time I get it I'll post some up on here.

They say they ship anywhere in the world so i guess it's a temporary problem. The site is under construction.

Yeah, for me to get it posted to Australia, the freight charge is just about as much as the part itself. Might wait till Venom gets their first batch on Tresrey parts in Australia unless I can work out something else I want to order from them.

Sorry, with the post above i meant from ebay store not the store in spain. No idea how much freight is in spain. I contacted the new Tresrey Distributor in Australia and they said they should have their first shipment mid Feb. so might just wait till then.

I've ordered mine from Spain (Positivonegativo) and can't wait to get it. I was out for my fourth session with the 410R tonight and again I wrecked a servo-saver. Two in four meetings is a joke. I can't see anything I'm doing in the build that is wrong and I've set the nut at the prescribed 1.4mm from the bottom.

It must be just my bad luck - plus crap driving, but I've never broken a servo saver on my B4/X6/B44/Shark.

You would think that with it being quite a simple item and so many posting issues with it that Durango would have come out with their own alu version by now, rather than leaving us to scrabble around the world to source alternative parts.

Mines been fine for 6 months, broke one the first week i had it running but that was because i had the servo saver to tight.

I did check when I assembled it that the saver would move under pressure. After the first one breaking I smeared a small amount of grease on the moving faces of the saver. If I don't receive the Tresrey part before weekend I'll pop another plastic one in and try a looser setting.

I'm just wondering whether running dBoot Terrabyte tyres is compounding the problem. I.E. they are more grippy than the mini-pins and when you land hard they may not slip on the surface as much, thereby putting more pressure on the saver - just a thought.

I started running my car with the servo saver set pretty loose and I used the same saver for the entire summer on astro turf with mini spikes. The downside was a lot of wheel wobble in tight and fast corners. The last couple of months I tightened it up a lot to get better steering response. The downside then was I broke three savers in a short while, in some pretty nasty crashes though. Since last week I use the Tresrey arm and I noticed the servo horn had moved one tooth which I guess is because of the heavier load on the horn, so now I'm waiting for a alu horn to fit. Let's just hope the servo itself can handle the full load.

I guess the Durango team drivers don't crash as often as some of us, which is why they never found the saver to be a weak spot. And I guess they think it's better to leave these kind of upgrades for the aftermarket.

On my X6 I've had the servo saver glued up, as most people do on the B4/X6 and so far I've never had a servo fail me, There again I’m using the Savox 1258g which seem fairly indestructible. I also use alu servo horns. I’m hoping with the Tresrey part and an alu horn fitted I’ll be able to almost lock up the saver without other weak spots giving on the car.

Same here, I've slackened off the the collar on the servo saver a turn and been fine since

I've had no probs with mine so far, I used the setting the Durango suggest.

The servo horn has moved though, I suspect the plastic is on the soft side. I'd rather strip the servo horn than wreck my servo.

The steering parts are that cheap that I'll just use them for now.

I may just be lucky but ive got mine tightened all the way up and not broken one yet.

eventually though im going to buy all the alloy rango bits and servo saver

I just fitted the Tresrey servosaver. My servo horn was alu already. What would be a good setting when running with the Tresrey part? 2 mm?
