Default Durango Debut in Sydney Australia

Here are some pics from the Durango's debut here in Sydney at the St Ives club in Australia. Blue car is Michael Harlow and "Gelato" is Ben Panic's. Unfortunately - I havent finished building mine yet - but I am sure inspired to make time now!!

The first three pics are of Michael's FIRST time on the tripple.......this car inspires confidence to be sure!!

Other pics are general "air time" and race shots. I have a tonne of them - these are uneditied - so please excuse! Some are grainy because I photograph "raw" and the resizing from the picture host distorts them terribly!

Hope you enjoy!

Cheers

Hey Jimmy,

As you know mate - I am WAYYYYYYY oldschool - and it took a long time for me to just accept that they were going to pull the track down and rebuild after all those years.

DAMNNNNN - what an awesome track this is to drive though! Extremely challenging to get consistent laps, as the jumps, step ups and other tricky challenges on the track really keep you on your toes.

Having said that - I did run around my MIP RC10 legend and my SWB Optima Mid and they went very well too. Actually - I fitted the Mid with 10.5 and the thing would not be far of competitive! LOLOL

The cars on the tripple are getting at least 10 to 12 feet of air in modified class.......just increadible what we put these cars through.

Cheers

Darryn

haha, well I'm sure you'll enjoy the 'Rango mate, it's a modern classic! I'll make sure I bring my dex410 next time I come over to stives - and I'll give you a shout before hand also!
