would need to know a few more details really what class you run in what motor wind ?

theory is no no speed gain, all you would see is esc running a bit cooler as it has more spare "capacity" if motor is not too hot gear up slightly to see effect

As your running the core 45 id assume your running gt12. As thats what the 45 and 60 are qimed at and your in the 12th/10th

The pace 45 is restricted to 45 amps, running 1s inherently increases amps, (more volts less amps)

Yes you will get a bit more performance from a core 60 (the split second you draw over 45 amps your motor will mot respond as qick to full power.), but you would be better looking at a 120 amp speedo such as hobbywing sky rc etc.

The higher the amp capacity the cooler if will run, and the more punch it will give.

Just one point, its a myth that setting a motor to a set amps is the best timing/sweet spot.

At nationals we run any where from 40 to 50 plus degress its totally down to the motor brand, and the only way to set it is on the track with a stop watch, a good group on facebook with lots of info and top drivers is gt12 circuit uk where you will get a guide of what timing to start at.

Default Budget?

If you're on a budget i can highly recommend one of these.

May not be the most high tech option or have the most features but, it's definitely a great budget option.

Stuart and Chris, stop it girls both sites offer great advice!
