Good colour choice, simple but effective.

Have you thought about copying the paint schemes off any of the Hotwheels cars ? They have some real cool stuff ! Might be worth spending a little bit of cash on some or find them on the net, great inspiration !

yeh, enamel paint like the plastikote can be a bit funny.

i make sure when using candies on a shell that they are backed really well with waterbased paints when i plan to use plastikote (which is all the time as all my shells get sealed with it)

like you say, applying plastikote too soon on a shell isnt a good look either

As I've said else where, really liking your shell, maybe I would have used a darker colour than the metallic red between the orange and white but it probably looks different in real life as I know pearl colours rarely come out correctly in photos. Great design though

Thanx Ian , I could do with some tips on colours
, the red I used is johns candy red , I used 3 lite coats
Then 1 lite coat of Crome backed with black , which made the candy look
Great, then after I finished the rest of the shell off and
Put on my nitro block the red faded and u could see it
On the inside ?????
Any tips would be great
I no I'm doing somthing wrong somewhere
Cheers si
