Thumbs up What 1/8th Electric Buggy to choose?

Hi,

Up until about 5 years ago I was racing 1/10th off road electric in the mid west region and also racing in the nationals. However due to life and personal circumstances I had to put the racing on hold.

I am however interested to get back up and running again when we can of course and i'm wanting to get involved with 1/8th off road electric.

Was wondering if anyone can share what most are using? Best to go for and reasons why?

Cheers

Ben

Ben I use TLR Eight in 1.8th Ebuggy and I have found it quite good so far. There are loads of other brands like Tekno, Kyosho, Agama , hot bodies and Sworkz to name a few. All are very good cars and on there day in the right conditions with the right driver the can be a winning car.
My TLR I have found to be quite a stable car to drive doesn't do any thing to crazy and is right up there on pace, just might need a better driver to finish higher.

Electrics , hobbywing is my preferred brand, I have always found them to be reliable.

Probably best to take in a race meeting at your local track and see what the top lads maybe are using or whats popular and has some local support for parts etc.
