Losi xxxcr setup : grass/astro

Front spring : blue
Rear spring : yellow
Oil front : 35 or 40 (depending on how you like your steering)
Oil rear : 30
Pistons : red all round

All the cars of today are pretty similar, its mostly down to the driver, some cars are going to be stronger than others in certain places, but weaker in other areas.

i have a B4 and a Losi xxxcr, and i personally prefer the losi. i find its a more rewarding car as i seem to be able to push it harder, where as the B4 seems to just be to laid back of a driving style.

just my opinion....

B4 all the way I didnt like the CR when i had one. Their just didnt seem to be very much steering with the car. And the car was very random over the bumps. I also found that it was quite a weak car compared to the B4.
Just my very honest opinion

i would say that, from my experience, an x6 is an immensly strong car, even more so than the b4. a b4 is a very good car and i would say it probably has the best parts supply trackside and also a lot of people run them so help is very easy to get.

is there any reason why this is turning into a xxx setup thread?

From what I have read and heard, the CR is a more complex car, and has lots more adjustments...

For me and most other club and regional drivers, this is tooo much adjustment, and ends up just causing confusion! (What to adjust next on the track). I have also heard problems with the diff in the CR, and it needing to be replaced with XX4 diff halves and what not, to make it reliable.

I had an original XXX, and have used the B4 as well. My gripe was getting enough steering from the thing in the wet/damp. The B4 just works with one setup on it! A lot of club drivers use the XX4 and B4 (over the XXX-CR), so I would go for the B4 in my opinion. The B4 is also cheaper in FT mode now!

Ive had an X6 since august sepetember and its by far the strongest car i have driven it's been its through 3 regional, a 6 hour indurance and club nights every other week and all thats happened is a the plastiv shock rod end came off as it had no thread left on it and a very old b4 front wishbone broke very impressed no other breakages at all setup is also easy to identify what you want more of steering etc. and they are really good, i used to have a b4 and this car i've found so much better for me
