A leisure battery is designed for use by caravanners so it can power more things and won't lose it's charge as quickly.

hi,
i have two yuasa 12v 12Ah batteries,
these are ex hospital batteries and still have some life in them i think.
i have seen some people join two of these together to pack more of a punch,
£10 each
i know u go to hrccc so if you want to see them then i will be at the first indoor meeting.

you can just charge them with a normal charger, i used to charge them with my rc charger via the plugs at home on a slow trickle charge, i think that charges them better than a fast charge.
