Carpet arriving next Monday (5th July)
Please note that we are getting the carpet delivered for Monday's meeting so we can run it before the Summer Championships start. Therefore we must stress that mini-pins will not be permitted for racing. Please can you all make sure that you have one of the control tyres which we have listed on the web site.
Thanking you all in advance for your cooperation. Look forward to seeing you all on Monday 5th July as this will give you a chance to see what it is like to run on carpet ahead of the first round of the Summer Indoor Championships that start on Friday 16 July.

Great news about the 6pm access time Scott
 I should be able to be there at 6 to help set everything up. Also just want to say a big thank you to yourself and all the committee members for getting the carpet sorted out. It will hopefully be a good meeting on Monday, see you then!

I just need to point out that the 6pm access is only for this Monday and is not going to become a common practice for other meetings.
It simply gives us enough time to prepare all the new track marking materials and to perform a dry run for setting out carpet which for many at the club will be a first. BTW, thanks for the kind words of support. Sometimes the role of organiser or committee member can be a thankless one, so it's always nice to know we are doing things right

 What a success me thinks The standard of driving was so much better tonight on the carpet, what did members who were driving think? Looking forward to the Championship now, though I need to adjust my cars setting now we're on the grippy stuff
