Help Reds racing TX120 ESC connection issue

Hi, Can anyone help with a problem I have, I've just got a reds racing TX120 esc and motor and can not get it to connect to the receiver or the programme box I bought with it. I've tried everything but it doesn't recognise the receiver or programme box or the pc. If anyone has one of these esc's can they offer any advice. This has me totally stumped and very frustrated. Thanks
