I have run a 6.5 all year, Novak, but think the make of the motor is not as important, but I will be using Nosram next year, plug over, it's more wether you can handle the power and speed of a 5.5?
A 6.5 has plenty of power and speed, a 5.5 is AWESOME!!!!!!!

I run a 6.5 Fantom in my Catsx, out door dusty clay tracks mostly / common australian track surface.

Won my 2nd trophy event with my cat on mixed surface track (astro/loose hard pack) with the 6.5 only a few weeks ago.

What ratios are you running?

6.5T seems to be the clear favourite..

I 2nd that. running the same motor in my car and it's amazing. so smooth. it's only on a GTB at the moment so I'm hoping once my GT2.0 arrives it'll just keep getting better.
