SSGT with Futaba S9670

I spotted this in another post and wonder if this is also true for the S9670 which is what I've got to go with my new SSGT. Although it seems to fit on the posts, I did notice the posts were twisted very slightly inwards, so maybe it's not quite right? I also noticed that the track rods when fitted are not quite square to the servo saver, which isn't right either is it?

I haven't seen any additional info on this in the forums (but that maybe me), so could anyone enlighten me some more or point me to somewhere that can show me how it should be done, and maybe provide any pics of what it should look like when fitted correctly?

When it's said it does not fit it's more to do with the servo output shaft being on the centre line of the car. I'm not sure which way your wanting 90 degrees but horizontally they have an angle and the servo balls should be just forwards of the steering balls, there is some pictures in the manual.

I assume therefore from what you say that the fact that it's not on the centre line of the car means each track rod is a different length. Does that have any adverse effect on the steering?

it will mean different length arms, and it does alter geometry slightly, if you can tell on the track? I doubt it if its only minor difference

I had this problem as well...got the dremel out to extend the holes and then counter sunk again....didn't want different lengths on steering arms would prefer servo central. Don't know if this just effects Futaba would have thought all similar design and it fitted perfectly in my 1/12th .
