If you have a Tamiya TRF 201 any conversion will fit the TRF 201 all are compatible.

If you buy the XR Chassis kit to fit to the 201 TRF.
If you buy the Xm for the XR to make it Mid Motor to fit the 201 TRF.
If you buy the Gen3 Vega for the 201 TRF.

Dependent on which you go for you will still need two kits to make mid or rear, but if you have the TRF 201 to start with thats rear.

201/XR/XM
201/Gen3 Vega.

To be honest will the new XM have REAR option or is it just Mid !!!!.

Why can't tamiya just release a rear motor buggy and a mid motor buggy? I don't mean to spoil the tamiya conversion pack party, but it does seem a bit complicated!

You right! It is! I'm join to see what the cost of the new kit is. If reasonable I'll probably buy it and covert my Xm back to an XR. Then I'll have both mid and rear motor versions of the TRF 201 in there most optimum spec.

But I'm not having much luck getting the race track of late!

Any idea when this is going to be available?
I'm tempted to buy an original TRF201 and a Vega gen 3 conversion but sods law will mean Tamiya will probably release this the day after I go down the Vega route!
