Default Kyosho Main Chassis LA-16?

Hi there,

I'm new in this community and I would like to say hello to everybody!

Maybe you could help me finding out what type of main chassis this is.
It was implemented in a Kyosho Lazer ZX-R. But the holes of it are different from a Lazer MK2 main chassis. I'm a bit confused

Thx for your help.

Brgds

Mike

Quite a few are out there, all on the fibrelyte website in my name tag.this one had the extra holes to move the pivot block & mount fowards/backwards and think you could change from mk1 to mk2 layout. Mk1 layout is better for the uk.

Thx for the information.

Here is another pic showing 10 holes. I only know chassis like this with 8 or 9 holes in front of the battery slots.

Brgds,

Mike

Whats your setup you will show up with(turns, ESC)?

Is it a vintage race or will there be any new age ;-) models?

Brgds,

Mike

Mike,

Its a standard race event so think im the only one driving a 28 year car, with LRP SXXTC, LRP X20 4.5. Set up shocks is on the setup page on vintage section, also loads of info on the Lazer ZXR thread at the top of the vintage thread listings.

This is mine, before and after:

Wow!!! Very nice!!!

Roll bar is from my Lazer ZXS Evo prototype. I have a kimbrough medium or maybe large fitted in mine. You have to cut all but the centre holes and I use both lower & upper.

Cheers, its a zxr gearbox but cf side plates to the same dimensions but with added zxs tensioners under and over the belt so car can handle an LRP 4.5 X20 motor.

Can you show me a bit more detailed how that work is done, to make the powertrain stronger? (pics etc.) I'm running the car with an old LRP ESC and a 10x2 brushed motor. I'm sometimes thinking thats almost the limit.
Is there any surrogate for the LA-11 pulleys?

Brgds

Mike

Ive a pdf with the build if interested so your email address. Another alternative is cut into the rear gearbox and fit tensioners, ive designed one already. A ten double is just as quick as a brushless, if not slightly quicker top end.
