As for winning there is little support in terms of a team for Kyosho electric off-road in Europe where as you will see drivers supported to one level or another with B44s at every event. On shere numbers the B44 will win more in Europe, also AE are willing to support the very best drivers in the style they have become acustomed which Kyosho don't seem to do in Europe .... again this means that the B44 is more likely to make it to the top step due to driver tallent (Schumy would have one GPs in a Red Bull ..... that sort of thing). When you consider the USA and Japan you will find many supported drivers who are capable of showing the true potential of the Kyosho cars. Personally I can not get on with any of the cars with the weight as far back as the B44, it just doesn't work for me at all. My advice is to try and get a drive on a well set-up "average drivers" car for both chassis and make a judgement based on that. My ZX5-SP is always available for people to try .... most people have liked it so far.

Having not tried a lazer but seeing them going round a track i would have to go for the b44, i think the b44 is a naturally quick car (like the bj4) whilst the lazer seems lazy but very easy to drive.
Thats my opinion, again, some may disagree

Yeah it was a zx5 my apologies, havnt drove a sp version even tho i dont think it would swing me to getting a lazer. Now the herd moving on to the b44 (like me) it makes sense to go with the flow.
As for the xx4 Ash ive owned one for 2 years, there where and still are a cracking drive. But i wanted a change. There is loads of 4wd`s out at the mo, go with what you can afford and easily get spares for.

It seems to that the B44 will be the best buggy for competitions. I really don't like all the plastic parts on the ZX-5 SP! But I do have a Tamiya TB02, and it uses stickpacks, so it would be nice to use the same batterypacks. But rcmart do have a special offer for the single cells. (30 cells, 30 battery bars and some other free gifts) For about 160 USD, so I can solder them by my self instead of buying lots of expensive saddlepacks.

[quote] some of the parts on the B44 arent too amazing though... thing is with the kyosho, you can use lipos more easily.. and lipos will, i think turn out cheaper to run than saddles, and hopefully be legal next year... i have never driven a Kyosho so i cant really comment, but i did like my B44 for the one week i ran it.. hmm..
If i choose the Team academey, I will just order it from USA! Both the B44 and the Lazer ZX-5, will I order from rcmart or a store in the US! It is not a problem if the SBV2 is not for sale in Norway. I will order eather car from the internet.

yeah it's not just about being able to buy it (or get parts) but also if others are racing it locally so you can get help. It's nice to race a car and know if you break it you might be able to borrow a part for instance.

If you want to use stick packs how about the origonal BJ4?
Pretty much as bullet proof as you can get and all the small parts (screws, drive pins ect) are all backwards compatible with AE cars. It's basically the same as the current Worlds Edition with a different chassis layout and slightly different steering geometry

And Wesinator is the only one in my hometown that has one now. Josh R. sold his pred, said it was way too finicky on the turns.  I admit it's a super cool looking R/C ride, just not for some drivers. And whats up with the special rims you must buy for it....weird.. At the cactus classic race on youtube right now the winner of the Losi vs Tamiya race was of course the Tamiya. As for me...B44 The lazer is a nice ride...but like the post above it's too plasticky for my tastes.
