just received my 410 V4 which is my first 1/10 buggy, I took a lot of time when install the E-Clips into the diff ourdrive, and i can see it will be a problem if i want to remove it in future, is there any special tools for the E-Clips installation or i am not do it in correct way? Thanks for your advice.

Its a pain to do, thankfully in ~2 years of 410 ownership i've only had to remove and refit twice. Once to upgrade to the CNCed ring gear, and once to upgrade the seals (and change the outdrives at the same time)

+1 your not really going to be doing it that often.
I used a flat screwdriver to remove and the same to help click it in position |

The 14t sun gear (attached to the outdrive) is unchanged (310001), the 4 (9t?) planet gears and the cross shaft are plastic now according to team durango (310290).

I believe the plastic gear are to reduce rotating mass and make the drive train smoother and the metal/cast gears were included with the v3 and this is a change for the v4.

Yup, the plastic bits will be around 1/3rd the weight of the metal ones. Ish.

you can get the other gears in plastic from the detc410, but since they're not on the v4, I have a feeling they're not strong enough.

The plastic planet gear sets have undergone extensive testing by all the Team Durango pro team. I am also running the V4 and not had any issues with plastic planet gears personally. I have also started using the plastic planet gears and cross shaft in my DEX210 gear diffs as well as they fit perfectly.
