The one at the very back is new and not yet available in alloy, but the front is carried over.

Bit of a pig to change too....

I spoke to Kev Lee and it does require chamfering the corner to clear the motor.

I moved on (not much though, about 1.5hrs) with the build now I received my exotek rack from InsideLine (Top service, by the way, will order from them again!)... and all I can say is WOW. I hadn't been exposed to Kyosho quality for ages (last product I built from them was a Mid Custom bitd when I was a teen ) and I'm beginning to wonder how I've managed to not get sucked into k-cars for all these years! Yes, there sure is a price to quality, but at least one sees where the money goes... The finish and fit is stunning

I think most are run saddles, you could mount the speedo on top of the battery bar.

Nice work Must get myself one of those exotek steering racks when they're back in stock
Does anyone know if there are plans for alloy rear suspension hangers? The RB5 RR mount doesn't fit?

No the RB5 rr mounts only fit in rear motor configuration. I have Ali mmountain progress that will have extra tuning potential to.

This car is amazing, you will all love it!

Mine's almost ready... body and wheels, and she's good to go to her first race Saturday morning!

Fitting the (non-shorty) lipo stick with mid motor requires using the plate to mount the speedo... that was expected but boy why did they do the body so narrow on the motor side? the wires hit the body even though I've been creative with the wiring for my xtreme stock, which isn't the fattest controller on the market. FM Rx (Ko 302, tiniest FM rx) is on the side pods, the low-profile servo was useless it seems

Question for you experts - when using a stick you can't /aren't supposed to use the rear battery "box"... which means the stick can move like 1/4 of an inch and hit the mill... am I missing something here?

Thanks!
Paul
