Default Gearing

Im just building up buggies for my first full worksop.

Ive got an XB4 running a 6.5T X20 and an XB2 running a 7.5T.

Most of the set ups on Petit are running 19/81 in the XB4, but that's on a 5.5T.

Would I be about right running the same gearing on the 6.5 or would I need to alter?

Sorry for the newbie question, but Buggies are very new to me

Hi,

Going from a 5.5 to 6.5 add a tooth to the pinion.
That will give you a good starting point for the gearing.
