Talking X6

Is there any where in the uk that still sells the original conversions, just thinking it may be cheaper than the squared.

Check out our "Dealers" on the Contact Details and Links pages on X-Factory UK (www.xfactoryrc.co.uk)

I know some of them are still listing original K011 X6 converisons, but not sure whether their websites are accurate or not. The last ones we sold out on were over 6 months ago so it is unlikely but worth a try none the less.

Dude unless it's MILES cheaper get the squared it's better in ALL respects so for a small relative difference in costs it will be the better car.

Even the older "K011" kits were 4 gear, a 3 gear X6 in kit form has not existed in this country for nearly 2 years now

But just in general Darren,

Is there any benifits of the 3 gear over the 4 gear, Pros and Cons? Both of them must have advantages and disadvatages?

For me no, others (not many though) have said yes.

The discussion was that the 3 gear had more power on steering but that can be dialled with setup. The 4 gear give more drive, more off power steering (armature inertia works for you into a corner), better balance and MUCH faster throttle reactions in the air.

The 3 gear also didn't have perfect diff to idler spacing and was open at the bottom both of which meant the gears wore out relativly quickly where as the 4 gear ones last, well like a B4 i.e. the ones in mine have been in for nearly a year now.
