Default 98 or 3k?

Hi all,

I have both cars, but I want to build one for an upcoming indoor event I am running in.
It's a very tight track. Not too much in it tough, 1 jump really is about all.
Run on carpet.
6 minutes, stock.
My past fave car here has been a XXX, due to being nimble, light and efficient.
But I would love to try 4wd.

thoughts?

we ran the 3000's for years at our club due to the mega steering it offered made it simply faster than everything else. There was probably 80-90% cat 3k's in our club at one point, now its most 501x's.
