Default New to Cat Sx

Hi, I have just purchased a cat sx, as i have no spares i wondered if their is anything i should buy before i race it for the first time? Anything that is particually likely to break?

I don't have one, but people seem to break spurs, front wishbones and front bulkhead.

Front wishbones and get the new rw racing spur gears. They are on eBay

these are the things I have broken. Also broken front hub. Otherwise I think it's a solid machine

where are you racing?

all ive broken on my sx is front wishbones and a couple of out drives, but they where the light weight ones and had been on the car for a bout a year. you will also need a front brace on the car, if you are in the north west have a drive to southports in door track have a race and you can see the what is needed on the car, as i have found them very strong as i do push the car

front wishbones front hubs are about all that breaks, the steggar brace of a guy on here with the same name is a good upgrade,thats about it really
