Any ideas what the differences are between this and the standard car?

I think the main difference is it comes with the laydown gearbox and ball diff so ideal for clay. Appears to be a little between the d and the normal 6.1.

The differences are B6.1 gear diff, radio tray weight.
DL ball diff no radio tray weigh

Everything else is the same just down to setup
