Default Track Build and repair night 1st Oct

Calling all Mansfield club goers……

The regulars amongst us may have notice that the track features are starting to look a bit tired and that we about due for some new obstacles. With this in mind the club is holding a Track Repair and Build night on Wed the 1st of October. Doors will open at 5:30 till 10pm so if you’re interested please feel free to turn up and contribute.

The club does intend to buy in some material to enable us to build / repair stuff but if anyone has any tools, or wood / items that could be used to make a ramp etc. then please bring it along.

The club committee has decided that everyone who turns up and helps will get a free nights racing on the 8th October.

To make sure we get the most of the night if anyone has any ideas of what they would like to build please let me know so we can plan and buy the correct materials.

I know we’ve talked about a new quarter pipe so if anyone is ‘handy’ or good with CAD, please feel free to create a design and post it on the forum.

Cheers

Muzzie

All way too steep. Here's a great flowing indoor track.

Notice the complete absence of 'obstacles'? Nothing is designed to slow the buggies to a crawl but the features promote smooth rhythmic driving.

Take a look at maritime raceway, another example of a nice flowing track and similar in size to Mansfield.

They are only ideas. Ares don't have to be made the same.
