For me i thought it was ace! Just enough with it being a big sweeper and the sugar soap worked well to give a clean floor with enough grip. Anything tighter than it was i'm not sure of but would i want it there again? Absolutely!!!
And that track last night was one of the very best we have had, top marks Steve Ellis!

I thought the wood floor was a great addition and also a great way of balancing the field as far as tyres are concerned.New pins are faster on carpet but terrible on wood, whereas worn pins are slower on carpet but you can go much faster on the wood.
Foams are in between .
