Default Round Four - 3 January

The latest round of the Winter series takes place this Sunday.

Four rounds and a final for all. Practice for an hour from 8.30 with racing starting at 9.45 to ensure we fit everything in. Hope to see you there.

Any questions please ask.

Work Party & Practice - Saturday 02 January 2010
A Work Party AND a Practice Session!

Weather permitting, it looks good but cold, a few of us will be trackside from approx. 10:30AM Saturday morning, for a few hours (probably 'til mid-afternoon), prepping the track for the following days fourth round of the 2009/10 Winter Warmer series.

As per usual, everybodies welcome, young or old, newbie or pro, if there's any advice you want or help needed you only have to ask!

But please note, again there is work, lots of work, to be done BEFORE we can think about getting the buggies out!

Will also have a quantity of members equipment that has been put up for sale should anybody be interested, cars; radio equipment, motors, chargers, dischargers, batteries, wheels, tyres and spares, lots available, come and have a look

No doubt the urn will also get fired up from time to time for hot drinks! Hopefully the on-site cafe will be open like last weekend, highly recommended sausage baguettes!

EPR Committee

NB Better weather (though it should be said that Round 3 was successfully completed if a little damp) has been ordered but looks like we'd better wrap up warm!

We have been to the track this morning and set up for tomorrow. The track is in great condition and have managed to get the layout sorted to save time in the morning.

Thanks to Shareef, Chris, Ellis and Charles who came down to help.

Hopefully we will see you all tomorrow...

Can't wait for tomorrow - just hoping that it stays dry and clean.

No SCT for me though - it's still buried under the mud from last time

go on you know you want to, plus the weight of all that mud will give you traction on the track.

I very much enjoyed myself today. It is good to know there are over 40 nutters out there that come racing outdoors on a very cold day!

Many thanks to EPR for another days racing.

Good thing I came homw when I did, it's a complete white out here!!! The idiots on the road when there is a bit of snow!!! I saw 3 in the hedge and the A299 was just coming to a standstill on a small hill, luckly I just exited the road!!! hehehe

We have more plans for that section and another that will hopefully add to the track's qualities...

I really enjoyed today even if my feet are still defrosting now... The track was pretty good with that new layout! I liked it!

It was close all day with Si, Ellis and me but it was good to see the pred take 1st and 2nd . Shame Si got a bit caught up otherwise it could have been a real fight to the finish! Well done for 2wd Si, it was total domination in that wasn't it?!

I look forward to the next one as long as I can get another day pass
