Entry Limit
Hi,
Couple of questions for EPR as we may try and attend on the 07/03/10 1) Is there an entry number limit 2) Can people entry both 2WD & 4WD (not me, but other TORCH members have asked) Regards, Mike |

Quite simply:
1) No, none set to date and we've had some big numbers this winter 2) Yes, several others do this on a regular basis and we try to manage time between heats for those individuals, if at all possible. Hope to see you all soon. EPR Committee |

Super, I'll let the relevant people know.
I'll only be running one class if we make it (unless the Cougar arrives..., which I v much doubt). Do you have any runners running vintage machines? XXCR etc? Will there be a control tyre for March and I assume LIPOs have to be on the BRCA list (we have a few members who got the Trakpower Dark Series LIPOs) Final question (sorry) everyone who attends must have BRCA membership (shouldn't be a problem as it's now a requirement for TORCH)? |

yes we do have people running vintage machines as i hava cat 98 that i run sometimes and i know someone who runs an rc10 goldtub
for the winter series i belive you dont need the brca membership but if you want to do the regionals then yes you do as for the tyres im not to sure if there is a control tyre but you are spot on with the lipos.

Oooh look, we've got a new Committee member
Just to share the CORRECT answers. Yes we do have drivers using 'vinatge' buggies, we have recently seen older Schumachers, Kyosho and Associated buggies. Though, to date, we do not have a specific 'Vintage' class. ALL BRCA Memberships, renewals and new applications, were due as of the beginning of the year and are a requirement to race at EPR other then those who are new to the hobby, who get a three race meeting concession from the organising body. Please check out 'Latest News', dated 24.01.10 here: http://www.edenparkraceway.com/ Control tyre (and preferred at EPR) is any Schumacher tyre, as they generously support our Winter Warmer series. LiPo's will be as per the recently published BRCA 2010 list for BRCA sanctioned events at both Regional and National level. EPR Committee |

And once again.........FAILING
Important but inaccurate information is no help at all, either to the individual concerned or the club itself. Please leave replies to enquiries such as these either to EPR Committee members or more experienced competitors |

Sorry didn't mean to cause any problems.
I'll speak to the TORCH lot and then if we are coming, PM / email you our various details so that you can enter them onto the club computer (exactly what I do at TORCH.) This is for Sunday 7th March 2010, not this weekend. The owner of the Losi XXCR in question would want to race against modern day stuff as normal etc. Understandable re the tyre, think we can all manage that. BRCA memberships aren't a problem, I'd remind our members to take their BRCA cards with them.. Many thanks for the info and sorry for the questions, but we'll be coming from Southampton, so good to know these things in advance. |

FAO the likes of dibble34, as per our post in another thread:
As previously, to assist us with the booking in process, if any drivers, who may not have attended EPR previously and would not, therefore, be part of our database, are thinking of coming this Sunday it would assist us greatly if you could PM the following details: Name, Senior or Junior, Class, BRCA No., PT No., Frequency or Frequencies and Formula (if known). Many thanks, EPR Committee Last edited by brookie; 23-02-2010 at 10:22 AM. Reason: missing request |

Worn or new?
Just so that I can get new tyres if needed. |

If it's bone dry and scorching sunshine you would only need worn yellow's. New ones offer sooo much grip in the dry
If there's any hint of moisture whether that be from rain or frost you will require new greens sometime during the day or at least a couple of sets of lightly worn ones And don't forget: As previously posted, to assist us with the booking in process, if any drivers, who may not have attended EPR previously and would not, therefore, be part of our database, are thinking of coming to any future meetings, it would assist us greatly if you could PM the following details: Name, Senior or Junior, Class, BRCA No., PT No., Frequency or Frequencies and Formula (if known). Many thanks, EPR Committee Last edited by brookie; 23-02-2010 at 10:23 AM. Reason: missing request |
