I'm pleasantly surprised with mine, actually enjoyed the build as it requires patience & fine fettling to get it right. Feels solid too although I made a few minor tweaks to prevent it falling apart mid race.
I'm running the upgraded trans with a 7.5t motor, finished 3rd in class at the Schumacher Challenge on it's 2nd outing

Pro transmission problem.
Just got my pro transmission upgrade for 1 of my runners but im having trouble from the outset. Ive rebuilt the rear drum as manual 3 times but no matter what i do there there is quite a bit of wobble in the outdrive dogs and sideways movement. This cant be right? Ive tightened the diff screw then backed it off 1/4 but there seems alot of movement in the dogs. Any ideas?

Are you missing a spacer or bearing in the middle? I don’t know as I’m too tight to pay for the upgrad

So basicly the bits are harder since the problem. back in the days was all the unwanted flex.
