Default Nosram 4-star is no more!!!

After the car stopping in the final it's confirmed the magnet has exploded inside the motor.
That was always a risk with the 1st phase brushless motors.
Shame really as the car went like a missile.
Be interesting to see how this orca 6.5 rx2 goes.

Loving racing again though. And enjoy talking to loads of different people at the club.

Hi Matt

Exploding magnets?
So that's why your motor was solid.

Looking forward to seeing the missile going again.
Are you providing body armour for the marshals this week?

Thanks for your help on my first week.
This week I'm going for a next-to-last finish and that elusive 8th lap.

Glad the car went well this week.

I was gutted to not be able to make it. I had issues with my 1:1 car and spent most of the evening on the M55.
Hopefully I'll get it fixed this week and be able to make it next week.

I have had rotors shatter before just find a replacement and your motor will live again

I actually thought about that, and still have the motor in the pit box.
But the motor is over 6 years old really, although not used that much. But picked up a good 2nd hand motor for a good price. Never know if something happens to my new motor I may be able to make one good one out of the two If required.
