hi huw. mercc are running there usual summer series when i find the dates i will put them up for you. keith is still at the helm running the club to its usual high standards ;-) and also have a good crowd go down there withe mixed ability. only down side is theyve let those smelly nitro's run aswell. lawford are not having a regional this year as they are not brca registered. the track is a lump of grass as the same as braxsted but without the famous features ahemm doubles . but the braxted track is like a bowling green nowadays through the hard work of some of the members. and on the plus they are holding a 2wd regional aswell so get some local practice in . ohyeah aswell colchester is just 5 mins up the a12 they now also run offroad on the otherside to the boring car track hope this helps huw

Hi Grant! I remember you were racing when i was. I used to love the Braxted track, the imperfections made it more challenging! I'll have to get myself there soon, i've spoken to Keith and he said the first meeting is on the 20th, i'll be missing that one though because i'll be at my brothers engagement party (i never seem to have enough time to do everything!) I think the last year i raced was when they ran the first nitro truck national there, is there many people racing nitro now? I never realised there was so many clubs in Essex! Thanks for your help good luck to everyone at Eastrax tomorrow

Come along to Lawford this Sunday then (the 13th)

There are meetings most weeks, with breaks on regional dates.
