F345 Regional Champions 2010!

Congratulations to all of the Mid West competitors at this year's F345 finals at Silverstone for bringing home the 2010 Regional Championship Trophy!

The trophy is awarded based on the combined finishing positions of the best 2 F3's, 2 F4's and 2 F5's per region, per class, and the region with the best 12 scores when added together take home the gold!

A few stand out contributors to our total:

Charlie Ware (F5): TQ and Winner of 4WD and is your 2010 F345 national champion! Also made the A final in 2wd.
Nick Caro (F3): TQ of 2WD and finished 3rd in the final. A finalist also in 4wd, finishing 7th.
Chris Lake (F5): 4th overall in 2wd.
Ben Bridgewater (F5): 7th overall in 2wd.

But of course, it is a team achievement, so thank-you to all of you who attended, and gave support to those previously mentioned.

The trophy is massive... and therefore will be passed off as one of my own whenever there are visitors .

Also, it should be mentioned that the Mid West team put up a great fight at the other End Of Season final this year, the F2 finals and Junior championships at Coventry. Although we JUST missed out on the Regional trophy (by just 4 points ) there were again some fantastic individual performances:

U13:
Morgan Rham: 3rd place overall in 4WD!

U16:
Charlie Ware: 2nd place in 2WD, winner of the 4WD class! 2010 U16 National Champion!!!

F2:
Tony Bishop and Neil Round: 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 4WD class. (involved in a 3 way tie with the eventual champion, and lost out by the smallest of time margins!)
Brett Birch: Double A finalist.
Brian Preddy: 2wd A finalist.

Well Done to all, you did the Mid West proud!
