Default Upcoming stuff

up coming stuff!

Not much other than a couple of massive race reports up recently, but there are plenty of things on the way. Firstly at least 3 reviews coming in the next week or so.

Write ups on the Tamiya at its first National, along with various hop ups for the car and a report on how things are wearing.

Northy has been busy doing a report / photos from the first outdoor north east regional at Durham - so that should be up very soon.

Cactus photos - I know I know , but I've been busy. Many hundreds of photos from this event need boiling down to a manageable number for your viewing pleasure!

Paul Rotheram has jumped aboard to write BJ4 articles, get setups, interviews, race reports etc etc.. The first installment is great and should be a boost for any BJ4 owners out there.

Arno from france has been busy working on some pages which collate all the information for each of the popular racing buggies. These provide a good information centre for each car, and links to any and all information people might want to find.

And of course loads more.

Howdo,

good Ultima review. One thing I appreciated when I read it was Stu not only mentioning what he changed between heats, but why he made the changes.

I'll have to read it a couple more times.

Elliott.

p.s. Typo on page 4 paragraph 2.

Ickle Techie Question:

Rd 4 at Southport

'I went up to 40wt oil in the front and changed the front camber link to long on the outer position which is meant give the tyre more weight on the wheel - so more grip.'

Why would lengethening the camber link at the front give more steering, when a shorter link would mean the tyre would dig in more? Does having the camber link ball further over the wheel, mean the whole link puts more weight on the wheel? Or are we talking about more smooth steering?

I've heard it mentioned before, but I just-don't-get it.

Elliott.

longer link = more body roll. a shorter link gives more initial turn in as it does what you have said.. but a longer link should give more through out the turn as the body rolls more.

correct me if im wrong?
