Default Field battery

hi all,

now my smelly car seems to be sorted, but?

i am after a small battery like a motorcycle battery but smaller for things like running my glow plug off! i saw people with them they were about 6"long 2" thick and about 3"high,

seen loads on abay but all with different specs, but i dont really know what im after?

help full appreciated. stu

they do some 12v 7ah ones,which are ideal for running starter boxes and power panels off.

glow starters are only 1.2v tho not 12v,unless you mean a 12v starter panel with glow support on it.

Default glow starter

hi,

this is the glow starter i have,

now being 12v could I just use my bike/car charger ?

i also have this charger;

i use it for charging my rx 1400 packs, only takes about 20mins on a bike battery, or chould i use it on a ciggy socket.

you shouldnt use a car battery charger to power a 12v item,they are intended for charging only,not to act as a power supply as they will most likely be unregulated.

just get a 12v 7ah lead acid battery and a suitable charger(jp make one)

you need a 12v lead acid(pb) battery charger,a normal car battery charger will cook it.
