Default What do I need ???

Hi all , I've ordered a fat shark Pred V2 FPV kit , I'm looking to increase the range between my Phantoms receiver and transmitter too , is there any way I can do this by means of some upgrades ??

All help and comments appreciated thanks

If your going to be using 5.8ghz video you shouldn't really need to extend your control range as they both have a similar range.

If your wanting more range with better penetration through trees/building etc...you will want to go UHF for control and 2.4ghz for video.

Thanks northernmonkey for your reply , that's great , I'm sure once I get the hang of using the FPV I will want to upgrade it in the future so for now I will use it as it is , I'm at the point really where I've outgrown my phantom anyway so might upgrade the whole thing soon

Any recommendations ?

Trust me your asking the wrong guy lol.

Only joking Mike certainly knows how to spend on good gear.

Have a think on what you want.

Super stable footage , not really fpv but can compromise - 6 rotor ie dji f550 - or a better built tarot machine.

Fast, fpv , cheaper ( to an extent ) tbs discovery - also a fab machine.

Id have a watch on youtube at a few tbs disco vids and see what you think.

Tbs discovery pro is nice , £450 though with gimbal built in , osd and camera switcher. That's with no electrics though.
