Default Brand New Rage VEI Won't Run 3S Lipo?

Hello everyone! I just purchased a new Kyosho Rage VEI and bought 2 Venom 2100 Mah 3s lipo batteries with it. When I put it in the motor flashes green but does not beep like it does when I put in the NiMH that it came with. I know I have seen videos on YouTube of this thing running 3s.

The steering works but the car is dead in the water. Won't move at all. I have verified that the battery is indeed charged. The voltage is at 12.15 volts. Has anyone had a problem like this or can at least help me troubleshoot this out? I can't find help anywhere and I sure hope I haven't wasted my money on these lipos!

Thank you very much for your time!

If you are trying to use two different types of batteries am sure you need to change the settings on the esc to reflect the battery type you intend to use.

I have no experience with your model however.

Worth a look

I will have a look for sure! I am a nitro guy and this is my first electric. The instructions are mostly in Japanese so I might have to do some digging online to see how to set it up. Thanks so much!

Your response prompted me to dig online and I will post my findings since others may have the same issues. The VEI model will only run up to a 7.4 volt 2s lipo. I guess I will have to purchase some of those in order to get it up and running on LiPo. Thanks again for your help!
