I tend not to agree with something you PM'd me, that someone told you to get "better shocks" as the losi shocks are no good outdoors and on grass? The losi threaded shocks if set up right are very good and sought after, have you changed the oil? What wt do you have front and back and what springs? You can't just buy a second hand car and expect it to go perfectly on any surface as soon as you just install electrics.....well on some rare occasions perhaps but I last used that buggy ages ago and just as a car for a practice in the park so the car was not set up for racing. Assume you actually checked air in shocks etc? If not then it's a very sweeping statement to say the car handles badly, so would any buggy in that case or am I wrong folks?

"i have not put any oil in them at all . i will put 35 in the front and 30 in the rear what eles do i need to do more grip etc need loads of grip as there is none"

There's your problem - set the car up, use the right tyres and drive it well.

Stampy,

What made you decide to get the D4? Is it just a cost factor or have you got a really good deal? is it new or 2nd hand?

Guessing that you have sold the losi now then?

Used D4's are cheaper than used B44's. Less demand basically.

FFS stampy, you are such a pain. you make a thread asking which car is better and EVERY person has told you B44 for various reasons, better car, easier to get spares, cheaper parts. You say you have a budget of £120 which will easy get you a b44, then you go and choose a D4 AGAINST all the advice.
Why do you bother posting questions up if you aren't even interested in peoples answers or suggestions? Why not just do us all a favour and go and buy whatever the hell you want and just not bother posting on here.
Although i have no doubt that you won't buy one because you have apparently ordered 13648 cars in the past couple of months, for them all to turn out being bollox. Or if you do buy it you will run it with bald yellow tyres an long wet grass, decide it doesn't grip right or makes a tiny perfectly normal noise and then you will say the D4 is a crap weak car and sell it (or try to as no one will buy cars from you)

stampy D4 spares went up by about 40% because of the economic situation. It is a good car, but very few people race them because hotbodies have abandoned their offroad team in the uk. few shops will hold many spares in stock, they will have to order them each time so you won't get them in a day or two. every shop will stock full B44 spares and you will get parts trackside too as loads of people race them.

you have been told now, several times. so if you choose to get a D4 don't come here wingeing about not getting parts, or parts being expensive as you will get nothing but abuse.

Everyone has told you B44, so take the advice and get one.. You say you don't need one until spring so you have no rush to get one. They come up on here all the time, so just keep and eye out and bid when one ccomes up. use the xxx4 to bash over the winter

*yawn*.

PS: On a more serious note, why dont you all just not reply to Stampys threads if he annoys you so much. Im not defending Stampy at all, but you reply, he ignores your advice, you reply, he ignores your advice etc.

Let him do what hes gotta do whilst we concentrate on keeping the fun and banter in oOple amongst those who are fun and banterful within the forum.

i've been unfortunate enough to read quite a few of your posts & i'm guessing English isn't your first language

at the very least it will improve the way you communicate with people which should go some way towards stopping you giving everybody the hump
