the only thing ive noticed between the d4 and the b44 is on the d4 the support for the front shock tower is a lot weaker then on the b44,and when you get an impact it breaks the gear case,do you still have that b4 you got of si-co? if i was you id stick with that, set it to the manual, set the shocks same as everyone else does, stick around 40grams of weight in front, set speedo to smooth throttle so its not to agressive .thats what i did with mine when i first started racing this year and it works great,

I started racing this year also, but I used the xxx4 (which i believe stampy owns one too).

set it up to manual, stuck in a 15t single with £20 esc and went racing every sunday and wednesday until i got my average closer to my best, then started to upgrade with lipos, brushless etc.

STAMPY stick with what you got and go have fun, you do not need to waste money on all these cars.

i agree, i have a b4,b44 both transmitters must be 15years old, the servo in my b4 about the same age.just make sure your car is in good working order, you have the right tyres for the track/conditions,forget the fine tunning stuff it can take over.that b4 of si-co is a good car i have used it myself.
