I have just had a really sad email from him, hard as it may be for some people, can he be laid off with the banter for a couple of weeks. He is going through a dark time over the next 24hrs.
If anything be supportive of him.

chin up mate this time of year isnt the best for anything, my grandad is currently battling his way through a minor cancer on his ear and a close friend is in remission after breast cancer last year

everyday that goes by is a day nearer to normality

Simon, I am sorry for your loss. Do you really think though that a model car forum is really the place to be sharing this situation with?

The quality of your posts regarding the intake of dispensed advice has not changed either and you contradict yourself as much as always only now you refer to this thread as soon as anyone asks or writes anything.

I have lost family as well several times and going through the experience I wasn't terribly concerned with what buggy to buy next in those particular situations.

Is this really the place you want to be looking for consolation at a time like this?!?
