Default Duo Chargers!

Guys!

I need a dual Lipo charger, but one that wont break the bank!
Sooo Orion Duo, or SkyRC D100, specs on the D100 seem better, just wondered if anybody has any feedback on either?

Bests.....lee

I got the cheep Orion one which seems to work well. But I'm never sure if it is balancing as you don't have the option to select balance. I think It does it automatically if the balance plug is plugged in.
Good value.

Has it got inbuilt mains or do you require a seperate mains power pack ?

Cheers

I've been looking at both of these chargers. I think the D100 looks a better bet.

No worries, I only ask as my charger at present is ac/dc but requires a seperate mains power pack for ac.

Default SkyRC D100 ....

I have the SkyRC D100 which I am really pleased with. It comes with built-in power supply which give you a total output of 100w shared across the two outputs, this can be increased to 200w if an external DC power supply is used. The charger is fully functioned and works really well, I am actually thinking of getting the larger D200 model as it produces 200w from the inbuilt power supply and includes a 60w soldering iron. Great products, recommended.

Get two singles and then when one goes to sh1t you still have a charger while you wait for repairs.......

I've one, I've stopped using it. The inbuilt power supply isn't man enough. When you balance charge it cuts off well before 8.4v on both channels. I haven't tried an external power supply attached or none balance charge. but it completely renders the AC function useless.

I've reverted back to the trusty Bantam BC6 and HPI charger. Full charge guaranteed everytime.
