Default MRT PTX Position

Just wondering if anyone has mounted an MRT PTX (New style) on its side or even on its end if so has it ever missed you laps because of this. Will be in a Composite chassis not aluminium where room for a neat instal is tight.
Thanks in advance.
Chris.

Any way seem to be ok just keep it close to the edge of the chassis so the chassis doesn't shield the signal as much

I've never had a problem with any of mine and I've mounted two on top of the gearboxes on my Procat and XLS and never missed a lap.
