Default URGENT - MISSING TRANSPONDER

To all that attended todays, Sunday 07 February, Winter Warmer Round 5, unfortunately at the end of the day as we were packing up, after most drivers had left, we found that Yellow Transponder No. 7 was missing from the charging rack!

We know that all transponders were returned at the end of qualifying so would assume that one of the drivers of any of the car nos. 7 in the Finals may inadvertently left it in their buggy.

Could drivers please check their buggies and let us know if they find this transponder?
We did check the track and could not find it.

I will go through the paperwork later and try to identify which drivers may have used this transponder in the Finals.

Your assistance with finding this hardware would be very much appreciated, they are very expensive to replace!

Right, I have the final printouts sorted.
No. 7 in each final were:

A Final 2WD - Chris Brooke - PT
B Final 2WD - Charles Wilson - Hmmm?
C Final 2WD - N/A
A Final 4WD - Dave Church - PT
B Final 4WD - Ashton Armstrong - PT Me thinks ?????
C Final 4WD - Jordan Coleman - No, previously replied
A Final SCT - Guy Bastable - ?????

So bottom line is could CHARLES WILSON, ASHTON ARMSTRONG (please confirm PT or NOT) & GUY BASTABLE please check their respective cars to see if they still have a yellow transponder No. 7 PLEASE

i can confirm it is not in my car as i use the same clip for both the 2wd and truck. it is not in either of my cars as the 2wd went out first and i put it striaght back in the rack becuase i needed the clip for the truck.

Thanks Guys!

Charles - Thought it may have been you on two counts, right number and you finished your 2WD early so suspected it may have either still been in the car or on the track after the impact! Thanks for the update.

Ashton - As I suspected but thanks for the confirmation.

Tom - Interesting! The Black/Red SC10 was I think Guy Bastable's, who was, as previously detailed, No. 7 in the SC/Truck Final.

Guy - If you read this, or anybody knows how to get in touch with Guy, could we please ask for the SC10 to be checked to see if the missing transponder is still in it?

Thanks to all for your help, hopefully we're getting closer

well if nobody has it in their car i think we should check scruitnering as it may have put on the table then accitdently brushed off on to the floor.

That was me in the SC10 (no. 7), so odds on I have the transponder. I will check the SC10 tonight and, if it is there, I will post it. What's the address?

Sorry to have caused so much bother ... pouring rain and empty stomach may have led me to exit too sharpish ...

Guy, just drop me a PM as and when you've checked. Here's hoping I'll be able to provide address details for posting. Sure we'll sort it, it's just the cost of replacements that are frightening!

This is a good time to say we should have PT's only at EPR!!!! I know it cost the driver, but I have had mine for over 5 years with never any missed laps!!! I think it will make it easier on the club on race days!!!
In fact I think the BRCA should adopt the PT only thing as well!!!
