Default Nosramm matrix istc stock spec troubles

Hi,

i recently brought this off someone and im having a though problems setting it up.

I have soldered it to my orca 6.5 and was wondering but when every i throttled i would brake and it wouldnt work when the setting is at 100% and it would just throttle when i didnt press it.

ive looked at the manual and done all the settings but now its stuck in a wired mode and wont work. the mode button is red and when ever i hold the set button it will shut down.

Thanks

1 - Reverse the throttle setting on your transmitter.
2 - Set the throttle end points to 150% on your tranny.
3 - Recalibrate the ESC (reset neutral, full throttle and full brake).

I run a couple of Nosram ESC's in my and my kids SC10's and have had to reset the throttle settings and recalibrate on all mine. Pretty sure you should get a blue light on the ESC when you're getting full throttle.

Sounds right to me - when you're entering the setup mode the speedo will stop working while you're setting the end points.

Press the setup button for 3 secs and I believe the red light will flash. Press the set button to establish neutral. Press full forward on the tranny and then press the set button again. Pull full back on the tranny and again then press the set button to get full brake. Let your throttle on the tranny go back to neutral and give the speedo a second or 2 to settle, and then you "should" have your settings stored and a fully functioning speedo.

What tranny do you have?

May also be worth checking what profile the speedo is set to. You could have a really agressive profile. You may also have a sensor cable fault if it's glitching.

If you look at the instructions there's a way to see what profile you're running from the number of LED flashes. Sorry but I'm not near my RC kit or else I'd have more info to help.

Not familiar with that tranny - but is there an option to change the arc / curve of the throttle profile? Sounds like you may have a positive throttle curve which would give you an aggressive throttle response much the same as a harsh profile on the ESC.

May be best to take it all along to your local club and ask someone there nicely to take a look - it's hard to explain how to fix your problem via a forum lol.

You only get the blue led at full throttle.

On the DX3R you can alter your trottle curve on the transmitter to give a slower smoother bottom end to the aceleration!

But if you're not getting the blue light then either your ESC or your Tranny settings aren't right.

You did say the ESC was second hand? Sure it was working right when you took delivery of it?

I redone all the settings and it still doesn't change colour. The peer seems to be there but it's just glitchy. You throttle and then it does it by it self sometimes. He said it was working.

Well the only thing I can suggest is to go along to your local club and ask someone with more experience than yourself to take a look. Without having the ESC in my grubby mitts and having a prod I can't really suggest anything else.

Okay mate will do. I'm going to change the profile an how aggressive it is to see if it fixes it.
