Have you stripped the kit one? I haven't had a problem with the standard one but I think the team c POM (derlin) version would be the better upgrade rather than the kevlar one.

Yes stripped the standard Diff gear. I wasn't aware there was a POM version of the Diff gear. We have the POM idlers already. I will have a look for a POM version

Thanks

Could try DMS racing for the team c one, or get in contact with SMD the distributers

Kyosho RB5 ones fit, they come with the idlers, but the idlers are ever so slightly too small in diameter, but the diff one is fine, been running it for over a year.

Also the Losi xxx idler fits however you will need to drill out the centre slightly to make the metric bearing fit.

I've used both Kevlar and POM.
Get the POM muccccccccccccccccch better, the Kevlar muccccch better than std though.

I can see how the POM gear would be better due to its low co-efficient of friction. There would be less resistance to the motor and therefore in theory more power / cooler motor. I guess the gearbox might be quieter too. I’m really interested what you found comparing Kelvar to POM diff gears?
