Default slipper spring diameter

Hi guys

I'm after a slipper spring for a mod I'm planning on something, but I'm after something around the 6mm diameter mark, and the longer the better.

Does anyone have dimensions of slipper springs handy? even if you could measure your own up and tell me what they're from, that would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

so, no bigger than 6mm dia. I could go 1/4" at a push.

Does anyone know what slipper springs would be suitable?

Hi Lionel,
I have not measured my slipper but did a quick search for something that may do the job and found this https://www.jphobby.eu/en/struts/303...reen-hard.html which could be cut down to suit.

Good luck!

Does it have to be a slipper spring? An associated diff spring is 6mm in diameter. It’s about 6.5mm long with a 2.7mm internal diameter if that’s any good

Cheers guys

It need not be a slipper spring, it could be a diff spring as long as the ID is 3mm minimum.

Solved it now anyway thanks people. I rarely come on here so I probably missed your posts when they were posted.
